Family Values Tour 2007 – Set to Feature Korn, Evanescence, Atreyu, Hell Yeah!, Flyleaf, Trivium and More
The 2007 edition of THE FAMILY VALUES TOUR has been announced. This year’s trek will see KORN take to the stage with co-headliners EVANESCENCE, ATREYU, the all-star act HELL YEAH! (featuring members of PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN, MUDVAYNE, NOTHINGFACE), FLYLEAF, and TRIVIUM – with more to be announced soon.
The tour will start in St. Louis on July 20 and will hit the following cities:

Goddamnit, I have to go to THIS if I want to see HellYeah? I’d rather claw my eyes out with a rusty spoon than have to suffer through this weaker-than-last-year’s-lineup Family Values. Korn I could deal with, but not Evanescence, Flyqueef, Atrey-who? and Metallica… err, Iron Maiden… err, Killswitch Engage… uhh, Trivium. Looks like I’ll wait to see them on a tour of their own. Hopefully with better bands.
Why the hell is Flyleaf on it for a second straight year?
Ugh, I knew the negative comments would come in, just like on Blabbermouth. Personally, I think this is an amazing lineup. Flyleaf and Evanescence aside, I have always said that Trivium and Atreyu (nice pun Sans Self) should team up with Korn and now they have. Hellyeah is definitely going to put on a good show, I just hope that they open for Korn.
The modern-day Korn fan would prefer that Evanescence opens for Korn but Hellyeah is a “super band” that doesn’t need to build up respect. If Hellyeah was in the position to open up for Ozzy, then they can surely open up for Korn.
This is the most horrible lineup ever. I seriously don’t think it could get worse. Honest.
I gotta admit….its pretty bad.
I rather not see Flyleaf, Aiden, Trivium, and Evanescence. I would pay to see HELLYEAH. I hope some other harder rock acts to be added this year, like:
Bloodsimple (new album this summer, buddies w/ Mudvayne)
Skindred (new album this fall – friends w/ Korn, sound fits)
Static-X (new album, due for a big summer booking)
The Rasmus (….I like them)
Drowning Pool (new album late summer, great booking)

but hey, for that kind of fan this is like a show from god.
Hell Yeah and Trivium will be excellent. My girlfriend likes Korn so I guess we’re going. I could use another good band to justify the cost and distance. Bloodsimple, Static-X or Skindred would all be cool. I heard rumors about Sevendust…

I would love to see them, but there are plenty of better ways to gain recognition than by opening for Evanescence and fucking Atreyu and alongside Trivium.

lol…wow…the suggestions for bands that should be on this tour (in these comments) are ridiculous. This wins for worst tour of the year hands down. Anybody that goes to this tour should automatically castrate themselves, because going to this would make them big enough vaginas as is.
And what’s so legendary about the people in Hell Yeah? Nothingface was far from legendary or good. Mudvayne is the same. Vinnie Paul is just a washed up hack that would do anything to be in any band…not that he’s worth being in anything good anyway…I mean he was in Pantera if that wasn’t bad enough. Might as well throw the rest of the nu-metal bands that were popular at one point to help reinvent nu-metal now with the likes of Aiden, and Trivium.

Fuck. I can’t figure this out. I’d go for Korn, because they always put on a great show. I’d also go for Vinnie Paul. What I wouldn’t go for is everyone else (especially Evenesceance;wg;wrg). Fuckin’ A.
If Terry Bozio is playing for Korn, they should bill it as “Korn with Terry Bozio” since he is possibly the best musician in this whole affair.
this may be a shock to some people, but EVERY band is into getting paid….what do you think they make music for free??? the only bands that are not getting paid are bands that cannot get paid cause no one will pay them. just because you want to get paid does not make you a sell out. the reason anyone plays ozzfest for free is for exposure and a future pay day…the only bands that got paid on ozzfest since it started were main stage bands and top few second stage bands….all the other second stage bands had to pay (their record company to be exact) to be on the bill….no one on this site works for free so why should we expect these bands to be any different…
OMFG HELLZ YES and you know why I say this? FOR ONCE, all of these shitty ass bands that ruin every other tour, will all be together. And so, for one summer, I will not have to see any of these awful bands ruining shows for me! So I thank you shitty tour, thank you so much for giving me a nice summer to look forward to!

I guess Hell Yeah said HELL NO to playing for free at OZZFEST.
I wanted to see Flyleaf last year,cause I had not seen them live before.But since they dont have anything new coming out I would rather not see them again.KoRn trys to get some bands that need exposure because they are new.And I think KoRn does a kickass job of doing that.You just cant please everyone.And by the way I LOVE EVANESCENCE.Have always wanted to see them live.I will see them twice this year.First at the ROCK ON THE RANGE.Pisses me off when people have the nerve to slam KoRN.They are the best of the best.
