Dekapitator – Sign To Relapse Records
Relapse Records have announed the signing of the Bay Area’s DEKAPITATOR.
DEKAPITATOR (Matt Hellfiend: Killsaw & Deathroat / Dan Bulldoze: Subsonic Nuclear Wimp and Metalcore Crusher / “Atomic” Andy Maniac: Rapid-Fire Explosive Ordinance Assaults / D. Attacker: Sonic Screaming Hammer of Death) are currently working on their Relapse debut, The Storm Before The Calm, which is expected to see a Summer ‘07 release date. Advance song titles include: “Toxic Sanctuary,” “Run With the Pack,” “Earthscorcher,” and “Screams From the Holocaust.”
DEKAPITATOR’s Hellfiend commented: “We’re highly psyched about unleashing ‘The Storm Before The Calm‘ through Relapse… Should be a total holocaust doss! We’re looking forward to thrashing as much as we can this year, so bring your denim and your beer and let’s fucken rage!”
DEKAPITATOR have previously released a split 7″ with NUNSLAUGHER (’96) and debut album We Will Destroy…You Will Obey (’99) that was recorded with James Murphy (DEATH, OBITUARY, DISINCARNATE).
The band also has a number of live dates scheduled for the Spring including appearances at both the LA Murderfest this weekend and the Goregon Massacre Fest II. A listing of confirmed DEKAPITATOR live dates can be found online here with more to be announced soon.
