  3. TheDude says:

Indeed, free or not…right now this line-up blows…

  4. lakebod0m says:

    ……………Nile……….uhhh

  5. andyfgt says:

hahahah no wonder this is free

  6. Sans Self says:

Hurray for Lamb Of God (I should ask them about this tonight in Providence), and fucking NILE?! That’s an odd one. Mondo Generator will be interesting and probably booed offstage every night, sadly. Ankla? Can we get Ill Niño instead? Or Coretez? It’s all the same band. And yeah, fuck Hatebreed.

But, free Lamb Of God? I’ll probably go, but without any decent second stage bands other than Nile I’ll be going late it seems.

  7. dalenkwint says:

Hatebreed? God damn it, how are they still even around?

Lamb of God and Ozzy for free!

uhh, fuck yeah thats worth it.

I would rather Lamb of God on the 2nd stage, but whatever.

  8. Wowza says:

check out Ozzfest.com, look at the band line up – and look at scope Ozzy’s pic…

he looks like a member of AFI or something!

Hell Yes to: Lamb of God, Ankla, Mondo, and Showdown.

    Is Circus a cover band?

  9. 57Sprinklesofpain says:

Ankla and The Showdown are both sweet bands. LOG always puts on a solid show.
How the fuck can anyone complain about getting to see He that is Him for Free?

  10. FigureNo5 says:

“Tickets for OZZFEST will be available from Ozzfest.com or LiveNation.com where specific links will direct you to certain sponsor sites where tickets can be secured.”

so I’m gonna guess it won’t be free in the long run. What is it, go to a sponsor, sign up for some shitty deal, give them your credit card number and then they give you a ticket?

  11. theWolfisLOOSE says:

    NILE FOR FREE BABY

  12. jakxor says:

So we have to be sitting at our comps on June 12 to try and get tickets for this then?

  13. rammstien says:

no rammstien fuck ohh well its free

  14. Starkweather says:

ankla buries ill nino and coretez. there is no musical comparison or even talent there in ill nino. they fucking play to a tape machine live. ankla at least play their instruments.

  15. screename1414 says:

Nile, LOg and mondo generator are worth the trip for free.

  16. screename1414 says:

    and Lordi might be fun.

  17. karen carpentry says:

    All of that sucks.

  18. screename1414 says:

Watch a lordi video, they are nearly as over the top as GWAR.

  19. dalenkwint says:

    Tickets really are free.

No signing up for a deal or anything. No shipping or any fees. Just free. Sponsors pay for the advertising opportunity which actually is quite huge.

I guess the goal of ‘Freefest’ is to break even as opposed to making a big profit. They didn’t profit last year, the tour suffered poor ticket sales and they came up at a loss[I think up in the millions!!], and I’m glad it did. Thats what happens when it sucks that much. And now this year its free =D

  20. dalenkwint says:

You’ll probably need a credit card number so they can simply enforce a ticket limit, you wouldn’t want some asshole renting out a whole amphitheater to himself!

  21. paint it black says:

    lordi makes me gag

  22. hoof arted says:

well, other than lamb of god, hatebreed, and maybe ankla, there really isn’t much to see here, yet at least.

ill nino plays to a tape machine live? damn.

  23. horse says:

Ozzfest went from Pantera, Soulfly, Fear Factory in previous years, to lamb of God and Lordi, its a joke, these bands blow… who would pay to see this crap

  24. M-squAeR says:

WHAT THE FUCK!!!!! All of these fuckin bands suck BIG DOnkey balls, what the fuck where their thinking, or where they thinking at all. Lamb Of God and Ozzy are great but we need more badass bands to go , not these PUSSY ASS bands that think there hardcore but in reallity they suck dick. Fuck.
