Detrimentum – UK Extreme Metallers Announce Signing to Grindethic Records
Grindethic Records has announced the signing of
Commented Tom from Grindethic: “After long discussions with the band, we are extremely proud to announce that the fantastic full-length ” Embracing This Deformity” will see light of day via Grindethic Records in Spring 2007. This album offers a unique experience of dark and crushing brutality intertwined with an atmosphere of morbid doom.”
Beginning life under the name ZARATHUSTRA in 1996, the band would evolve into the monster known as DETRIMENTUM . Recorded over a 2year period, their upcoming magnus opus “Embracing this Deformity” exhibits the band’s exceptional depth and maturity in compositions whereby they craft an unconventional mix of old-school deathmetal combined with sweeping guitar melodies, expansive doom passages and tortured vocals.
