37 years ago today, February 13, BLACK SABBATH unleashed their self-titled debut to the world. Featuring classic tracks as ‘The Wizard’, ‘Black Sabbath’, and ‘N.I.B.’, “Black Sabbath” forever changed the world of rock and roll, morphing it into a more sinister vein of music known as ‘heavy metal’.

Very True. The people who fucking post bullshit like “DIO > OZZY” should be shot. DIO should be in jail for murdering the greatest band ever and turning them into an 80s sounding band.

That first album still holds up with any metal album, 37 years later. I dont know about dio being killed, but ozzy definetly was better.

Black Sabbath has been awesome for 37 years, in (almost) all their incarnations. The Ozzy years were great, the Dio years were too, and so was Born Again. So there.
Hunter, the dio years were not black sabbath. Black Sabbath changed music forever. What Dio did changed nothing, influenced nothing.
i have that album on vinyl, sooooo good.

Ooooh, “cunter”, my feelings are really hurt. Dio made 2 legendary albums with Sabbath, Heaven & Hell and The Mob Rules. I doubt you’ve ever heard them. I don’t have to ask “any good metal band” their opinion on the matter, because a: I’m in one and b: I really only care about what I like. AAANNNNNDDDD they’re touring under the name Heaven And Hell because Ozzy and Sharon own the rights to the Black Sabbath name.

Heaven & Hell and The Mob Rules arent legendary albums. Ask any average metal listener to name 4 Legendary Sabbath albums and i promise it wont include either of those two albums.
As for you being in a good metal band, i am so curious which “GOOD METAL” band are you in? I cant wait to hear this.
