When is this album expected to come out? I think that Static-X are good contenders for Ozzfest 2007. If you like the band or not, they have been on past Ozzfests and a new album could mean a new spot on Ozzfest.
April 3. I’m gonna say they do Family Values again or Projekt Revolution, or some shitty theater tour
i listened to them in high school when nu-metal was big.. i can’t believe they’ve stuck around so long.
Yeah, def Ozzfest or Fam Values – I think its hot shit they have stuck around this long and people are still buying their albums – although the last couple were a little push over-ish

April 3rd eh. It is rare to see nu-metal bands these days. The only ones that have really survived are Korn, Rob Zombie, Disturbed, and Marilyn Manson (and System Of A Down if you count them). Nothingface are still out there but they aren’t as big as when Skeletons came out. Others have completely changed genres. Staind, Godsmack, Papa Roach, Cold, Deftones, Powerman 5000, and Taproot have all moved over into the hard rock category.
I hope that Static-X sticks to their original formula. I was born and bread with nu-metal, I would hate to see this genre go down the toilet just because the metal scene doesn’t like that style anymore.
