NME Awards 2007 – Nominees Announced!

Sheffield’s ARCTIC MONKEYS are hoping to repeat their NME Award success of last year after receiving four nominations. The group, who are in the running for best British band, live band, album and music DVD, called the nominations “very nice”. Last year the band won a total of three awards, including best British group. Other artists of note also given nods include:

KASABIAN
MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE
THE KILLERS
OASIS

The awards will take place on Thursday, March 1 at the Hammersmith Palais in London. A full list of nominees can be found here.
