Buckcherry – Anger KFMX Radio in Lubbock, Texas – Pull Out of Festival at Last Minute

BUCKCHERRY continue to make friends across the nation upsetting the masses with an 11th hour pull out from KFMX radio’s 26th Birthday Bash. A statement from the radio station’s official site reads as follows:

“Ladies and Gentlemen, we have just taken a tremendous screwing from the band Buckcherry.  They have bailed on their Lubbock date in order to be a last minute addition to an L.A. show.  It may or may not be a good career move for them, but it is a very crappy way to treat a market and a fanbase that has supported them for a longtime.  We were just given this information this morning (in fact if you go to buckcherry.com  you’ll see that they still list the Lubbock date, at least as of 7:02 p.m.).”

“Fortunately we have friends in the business and we flying in an even harder rocking band.  We are pleased to announce that NONPOINT is taking Buckcherry’s place in the 26th Birthday Bash, and in their exact spot.   We have been playing Nonpoint for years now, and we are giving our listeners and fans something else that they wanted!”

“We do recognize that there are some Buckcherry fans out there so for the first time ever we will offer you a chance to get a refund on your ticket if you wish.  We are more then happy to have Nonpoint join the stage with us.  You will only be able to take advantage of this through close of business Sunday.  Just take your ticket back to the place you purchased it.”

“I would say that the Bash is nearly sold out and we are going to have an epic party.  You might want to see if any one you know wants the ticket first because they should sell out sometime this week.”

“In closing, I would like to apologize for Buckcherry’s behaviour.  We understand sickness, family deaths and even double bookings, but this is screwing your old friends over trying to make new friends.  It really is uncalled for.”

The lineup for KFMX show is as follows:

Members of the Bored   5:00 – 5:30
The Exies 5:50 – 6:20
