Beastie Boys – Working On New Album

CMJ.com reports: The BEASTIE BOYS have maintained a rather low profile since the release of 2004’s To The Five Boroughs, but details are finally starting to leak about that record’s long-awaited follow-up. Addressing an Australian radio station, BEASTIE BOY Mike D confirmed that the band is working on a new record and joked about its sound before getting serious and saying that the band is still unsure what to except from the final product. The BEASTIES will be headlining Australia’s Good Vibrations Festival, which runs February 10 in Melbourne through February 18 in Perth.

eh, i thought “to the five boroughs” was pretty plain compared to the craziness on “hello nasty”.
It had its moments, but yeah, fairly boring.
