Operation: Rock Our Troops – Bare Metal Records Calling for Support

U.S. Troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan are asking for music CDs. To answer this call, Bare Metal Records has created a unique compilation CD to send overseas to the Troops, naming the project, “OPERATION: Rock Our Troops!” Bare Metal Records has selected 21 songs from some great American bands.  Ranging in music from pop to latin, metal to punk, country to rock, BMR has chosen the best entries to be included on “OPERATION: Rock Our Troops,” hoping there will be something for everyone on the CD.

Anyone can buy “OPERATION:  Rock Our Troops” online at CDBaby.com, BestBuy.com, Tower.com, ITunes.com, and a few other media outlets.  Just ask your local music store to order it for you.  “We are making this CD as a tribute to our US soldiers in Iraq, Afghanistan, and everywhere they are serving our great country as our way of paying them tribute for their service and sacrifices” says Bill Enyart, CEO of Bare Metal Records.

The compilation was engineered at Moo Pigface Recording Studio by Dan Boyd and formatted at BMR by Bill and Jaymz Enyart.  Thousands of copies of the compilation CD will be mailed to U.S. Troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan.  “We are hoping this CD takes off so millions of people will hear the heart-felt effort we have created for our US military” states Bill.  They support the soldiers, the war on terror, and a successful mission.

Sponsors are hard to get, but BMR is still trying. With worldwide distribution through CD Baby and their affiliated distributors, BMR has had a tough time gaining enough support to pull off this project. “The sheer cost of shipping thousands of CDs to Iraq and Afghanistan is daunting.  We still need help!”  says Bill Enyart.

rofl do i smell publicity stunt? judging by the complete lack of knowledge of any of these shit bands, i would say they're much more concerned about being noticed than the troops.

I recognize Moo Pigface Recording Studio as a Columbus, OH studio…. and that makes me worry that Strikken is the same Ohio band by taht name…. as tehy are terrible beyond words.

  9. TheInfiniteStaircase says:

    Bluefire
    St. Madness
    Casey Desmond

If Bluefire is the band I think it is, my band actually played some independant music festival with them a few years ago. The kids were like 11 and 12 years old but were extremely talented.

St. Madness is actually a cool band. I recommend "Arizona"

And Casey Desmond…well, she's definitely NOT the type of music anyone on this site will be into. lol

I think this was a compilation done through sonicbids.com

Whatever the case may be – Their hearts are in the right places.
