ALL THAT REMAINS have announced their new drummer to be…:
“YO! Jason Costa formerly of DIECAST is the new drummer for ATR. You can hear some of Jason’s stuff on Tearing Down Your Blue Skies. Check it out. And for all the people worried if he can do it or thinkin we may be weaker. HA wait, just come out to a show. Ha this kids fucking NASTY!!”

well mercyful fate and old metallica were both metal…does that mean they have to sound alike?
and i wasn't commenting on the clean vocals, i was commenting on all the damn yelling he does.
Converge aren't metalcore.
you dumb shits, open e or d breakdowns and clean vocals dont make something hardcore. converge, botch, breather resist. thats real metalcore. does converge sound like all that remains to any of you?
those vocals and occasional breakdowns don't reek of hardcore to you? i'm not complaining, i think they're a decent band.
VERY METALCORE
IN order to have metalcore, younhave to have hardcore aspects to the music. I dont hear it in All That Remains…
I think it's funny how now metalcore has been criticized so much that people are becoming defensive against bands they like. There is such thing as good metalcore, but that seems rare among the massive heap of bands pouring out of the tight pants of little boys. All That Remains happens to be a talented metalcore band. I admit that, but I also must say that I think they are fairly overrated, because most of their songs sound very generic and similar.

I like All That Remains, but Diecast were fucking terrible.
