Paolo Nutini – Announces Details Regarding First Full US Tour

PAOLO NUTINI has announced details of his first full-scale tour of North America. The headlining itinerary heralds the U.S. release of the Scotland-born singer/songwriter’s acclaimed debut album, “These Streets.” The album – which includes ‘New Shoes’ – lands in stores on January 30. Nutini is also slated to make a number of major TV appearances in support of “These Streets”, starting on January 30 with a visit to NBC’s Today Show plus an appearance that evening on NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien. The appearances follow Paolo’s two recent performances on his fellow Scotsman Craig Ferguson’s nightly CBS talker, Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.

The 20-year-old PAOLO NUTINI will kick off his Stateside tour in Chicago on January 25th, with dates continuing through March. Among the trek’s highlights are much-anticipated shows at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom on January 31st and Los Angeles’ legendary Troubadour on March 23rd.

Produced by Ken Nelson (Coldplay, Ray LaMontagne, Badly Drawn Boy), the album is driven by impassioned blue-eyed soul stunners, including the stirring title track and the rousing single, “New Shoes.” Hailed by Billboard as one of their “Five To Watch,” and named one of Rolling Stone’s “10 Artists To Watch 2006,” Nutini released his North American debut EP, “The Live Sessions,” earlier this year.  The four-track collection drew instant rave reviews, spurring the New York Daily News’ Jim Farber to declare Paolo to be “the most thrilling new singer of the season.”
