The shows will feature songs from the new album, as well as classic material. Ringing in the holiday season nationwide, TWISTED SISTER will perform a song from “A Twisted Christmas” on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on Wednesday, December 13, marking the band’s first-ever live performance on network television. On Friday, December 22, the band will perform on The Late, Late Show With Craig Ferguson.
Released last month, “A Twisted Christmas” features rock n’ roll versions of beloved Christmas classics including “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, “Deck The Halls” and “Oh Come All Ye Faithful”. A half-hour music special about the album, “Hangin’ With Twisted Sister” will premiere on VH1 Classic on Saturday, December 9th at 12:30PM, EST. Band members discuss how they coaxed LITA FORD out of retirement to duet on “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” and how their biggest hit, “We’re Not Gonna Take It” was actually inspired by “Oh Come All Ye Faithful”. The channel will put the newly-created video for “Oh Come All Ye Faithful” from the album into heavy rotation. TWISTED SISTER has partnered with VH1 Classic to support Cure Autism Now; a portion of the proceeds from “A Twisted Christmas” will go to the charity.
