Look What I Did – Announce Hometown Show

LOOK WHAT I DID will be playing at the Gibson Showcase (Opry Mils Mall) in Nashville, TN on December 2nd with FOXY SHAZAM. The band is currently working on a new album and have posted the following update:

“we are hard at work crafting new jams as we speak. we have built ourselves a den of iniquities in nashville, tn wherein we are exploring our innards and fiddling with sounds(fingering and stroking our instruments) which will make up the next body of recorded material we unleash unto the world. if you don’t see us at your venue in (insert our favorite city whatever night), (state) it is because we are working on this and will be back very soon.

we feel that the type of record that we are going to make its going to be a real straight, shooting, controversial record lyrically, and musically something that everyone can enjoy, both a musician or fan of underground music, and the average jabron who jams radio crap.  however this does not mean we will do like every other band in music these days and make oversimplified garbage as our way of doing this.  these will be meticulously detailed, fun to listen to songs, which are as unique and bizarre as we can make them.  we want a record with the social impact of something like nirvana’s “nevermind”(by no means something that sounds like that, however.. that wouldn’t accomplish the goal at all) so we can turn the garbage american idol and scene kid cesspool that is pop culture into something that accepts forward thinking ideas again.

its a lofty goal, but sometimes you gotta go long :)

btw, we will be doing a weekly youtube.com video update very soon, to keep you in the loop on the new record.  this might include rants, or anything else visually significant that might be caught on lens.  keep an eye out for that”
