The Red Hot Chili Peppers – Leading Way with 4 Nominations at MTV Europe Music Awards – Sacha Baron Cohen No Longer Hosting; JT Takes Over

THE RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS are leading the nominations at this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards, which have got under way in Copenhagen.
The US band have four nominations, including best album. MADONNA, SHAKIRA, NELLY FURTADO, KANYE WEST, MUSE, CHRISTINA AGUILERA all have three.
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, who is also up for two awards, is hosting the 13th annual MTV Europe show in the Danish capital. He replaced comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, known to the world as BORAT and ALI G, as host for the evening.
“I’m definitely more nervous hosting this show than performing one of my own,” said 25-year-old Timberlake.
