Danava – Add Another Video to Online E-Card
Psychedelic Sci-Fi hard rockers DANAVA have added another professionally filmed live video to their online E-Card. The video, for the dynamic track ”Eyes In Disguise”, was filmed at the Union Pool in Brooklyn, NY. “Eyes In Disguise” appears on the Portland, OR quartet’s self-titled debut album, set for a November 7 release date via Kemado Records. The E-Card, which which previews the entire new album and includes high-energy live performance videos can be accessed at this location.
DANAVA’s “Danava” has met to shining critical acclaim in the week’s leading to its release. The album has been hailed as “spectacular” by Decibel, while CMJ raved, “On the Portland band’s self-titled, Kemado debut, lo-fi BLACK SABBATH doom dances with distorted, high-pitched vocals, alien synth contortions and monster, virtuoso solos.”
DANAVA (pronounced DON-UH-VUH) have been assaulting crowds since 2003 with their unique take on Heavy Prog / Hard Rock that features twin leads, ethereal, sci-fi synths and bombastic drums (calling for comparisons to GONG, QUEEN, HAWKWIND and VOIVOD). The band (Dusty Sparkles (vocals / guitar / synthesizer), Buck Rothy (drums), Dell Blackwell (bass) and Rockwell (synthesizers)) are on the road now in support of the release.
