Tub Ring – New Album Title Revealed
Chicago’s spazzed-out, high-energy rock ensemble TUB RING has set ‘The Great Filter‘ as the title of their yet-untitled debut album for the The End Records due out sometime in early 2007.
The album, co-produced by keyboardist Rob Kleiner and Neal Ostrovsky, is being recorded at B-Side Audio studios in Chicago.
About the recording of the new album, Kleiner comments, “There were over 30 songs written for this album, but we’re only going to put the most important 13 on the record. It’s going to be just as eclectic as ever, with a thick and layered production. We want to make a big impression with this record because now being with The End Records our music will become exposed to a whole new audience.”
The band plays a one-off show at Club Bijou this Saturday October 28th, 2006 in Toledo, Ohio with MINDLESS SELF INDULGENCE.
