Watch Me Burn – Guitarist Gets Pubic Hair Waxed On Howard Stern Show
Kevin of Los Angeles based metal band WATCH ME BURN appeared on today’s (10/24) Howard Stern Show on Sirius Satellite Radio in a heavy metal trivia contest competing against Stern show writer Richard Christy (ex-Death, Iced Earth, etc.) for a chance to play his music on the show. For every right answer, he’d get 10 seconds of air time to play his band’s music, and for every wrong answer, either Richard or Kevin would have to have their pubic hair waxed. The contest included questions involving bands like PANTERA, IRON MAIDEN, NAPALM DEATH, SLAYER, and others.
Needless to say, Richard Christy lost horribly. Though, it’s important to note that he probably just enjoyed being waxed. The best quote of the day being: “Howard, there’s blood all over his leg from his balls.” You can check out a review, including the questions, and pictures of the event online here.
If you don’t have Sirius yet, on October 25th and 26th you can listen for free online by registering here.
Guests so far for those two special shows include THE WHO’s Pete Townshend, Sharon Osbourne, and Danny Bonaduce. Also taking place will be the Gary Dell’Abate Roast with Colin Quinn, Reverend Bob Levy, Lisa Lampanelli, Jackie “The Joke Man” Martling, and more, aswell as the premiere of The Bitter Half, a radio drama about relationships, written and produced by Sam Simon, one of the original developers of The Simpsons.
