Landmine Marathon – Add Northside Kings Guitarist to their Ranks

Phoenix, Arizona metal band LANDMINE MARATHON have added NORTH SIDE KINGS guitarist Ryan Butler to their line-up.

Butler is a longtime friend of LANDMINE MARATHON through his involvement in the Phoenix metal and hardcore scenes.  As well as being a member of NORTH SIDE KINGS and an ex-member of UNRUH and STRUCTURE OF LIES, Butler runs his own studio, Arcane Digital Recording (Phobia, Misery Index), where he engineered and mixed LANDMINE MARATHON’s debut album, “Wounded.”

LANDMINE MARATHON bassist Matt Martinez describes the addition of Butler as “new yet familiar blood running through us.”

LANDMINE MARATHON guitarist Mike Waldron adds: “We’ve known each other for well over a decade and come from the same roots.  It’s about time we finally get a chance to play in the same band and conjure up some demons!”

LANDMINE MARATHON, who recently returned home from a full US tour, are currently writing music for their next album.  The band’s debut album, “Wounded”, has been hailed by Blabbermouth.net as “the pummeling delivery of [Bolt Thrower] and…a vicious crust punk edge.”  MTV.com has described LANDMINE MARATHON’s female vocalist, Grace Perry, as a “dynamic she-beast”.
