Relapse Records – Contamination Tour 2006 Kicks Off
The 2006 Relapse Records Contamination Tour will kick-off this Friday, September 1st in Allston, MA.
Contamination 2006 will feature fresh Relapse signings UNEARTHLY TRANCE, FACEDOWNINSHIT, and FUCK THE FACTS with special guest appearances by label mates JUCIFER, MINSK, HEX MACHINE and more in various cities throughout the tour. All of the bands will be touring in support of their Relapse debuts. Both UNEARTHLY TRANCE’s The Trident and FACEDOWNINSHIT’s N.P.O.N.(NothingPositive, Only Negative) were released this past April and FUCK THE FACTS‘ Stigmata High Five saw its release more recently on August 22nd. Tracks from each of those releases can be heard via this tour e-card.
For years, the ‘Contamination‘ title has been used to by the label to expose some of its newest acts. Contamination 2006 is the fifth installment in this tour’s history. Previous ‘Contamination Tour‘ alumni include MASTODON, HIGH ON FIRE, CEPHALIC CARNAGE, NEUROSIS, COALESCE, DYSRHYTHMIA, and many more.
