Celtic Frost – Film Video; Concert Footage Available
In anticipation of CELTIC FROST imminent 47-date North American tour, the band have completed a video for “A Dying God Coming into Human Flesh”, from the band’s celebrated 2006 release Monotheist. Directed by Jessie Fischer (no relation to Tom Gabriel Fischer) the video was filmed this month in Zurich, Switzerland. Available to the media via Century Media, it will also be available for download September 5 from the band’s website, here, and at the Century Media website, here.
CELTIC FROST’s sold-out August 19 concert at London’s Mean Fiddler, can be viewed in its entirety here courtesy of Redemption TV. After a 16-year absence, the uproarious audience celebrated the band’s return at the packed and blisteringly hot venue. Performing an abbreviated set due to the Mean Fiddler’s strict early curfew Tom Gabriel Fischer promised, “to make up for this (the short set) when we return for the proper European tour in early 2007.” Also filmed was CELTIC FROST’s epic and universally acclaimed Wacken Open Air headlining performance (Kerrang! Magazine “absolute, spellbinding metal perfection”) and is scheduled to be broadcast as part of German TV’s legendary Rockpalast series.
