Fuse/Fangoria – Join Forces for ‘The Chainsaw Awards’

Fuse and Fangoria have joined forces for the ultimate in alternative award shows. The Chainsaw Awards will be taped October 15 in LA and air October 22 on Fuse.

The awards will honor the best of modern horror themed cinema and television and its growing influence on popular music, from the looks of the stars to the music videos directly inspired by seminal scare flicks.

Performers nominated in the music categories include GNARLS BARKLEY, AFI, 30 SECONDS TO MARS, MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE, FALL OUT BOY, EVANESCENCE, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS. Fuse viewers and horror fans alike will have the chance to help determine the winners by voting at www.fuse.tv between September 1st and, naturally, Friday, October 13th.
