Lord Gore – “I Think It’s Safe To Say The Band Is Broken Up At This Point”
The following excerpts are from an interview conducted with LORD GORE and FRIGHTMARE vocalist Gurge:
“Lots of people want to know…what happened with LORD GORE? Did the band really break up, or are you guys just taking a long break? Will the band ever return if you did break up?”
Gurge: “I think it’s safe to say the band is broken up at this point. It could always start again at some point, but it’s done for now. We still have stuff to release at some point though.”
“LORD GORE had a bunch of other songs written and recorded but never released. What are some of them, and what splits were supposed to come out but never did? Will any of this material get released eventually? Did you guys ever write any new material that never got recorded? Any un-used song titles you had?”
Gurge: “Yup, we have 7 of them that just need vocals and leads. We plan to finish them soon. The splits probably won’t happen at this point but who knows, maybe at least one of them will. We will probably just put it out on its own if possible though. There are three covers, Graveside Strangler, Crawling Horrors of Unit 731, and Afterdeath Afterbirth.”
