Daughters of Mara – Virgin Records Snags Top Up and Coming Metal Act

Virgin Records has recently signed Metal/Hard Rock band DAUGHTERS OF MARA. The conceptual essence of the band is derived from the Buddhist personification of evil (Mara) and the story of her three daughters who represent desire, lust and aversion.

All demos were written, recorded, produced and performed by Shawn Zuzek (frontman of DAUGHTERS OF MARA) on a 16 track hard disk. No vocal fixes or computers were used during this recording.

Look for the band to go into the studio in October and to release a CD in stores early next year.
