Mushroomhead – Reveal New Artwork, Release Date – Skinny Speaks Up
Megaforce Records has revealed the new artwork for MUSHROOMHEAD’s forthcoming Savior Sorrow album. The artwork can be found here.
Savior Sorrow will be released on September 19th, 2006. It was produced by Steve Felton and MUSHROOMHEAD at Cleveland’s Filthy Hands Studios in April 2006. MUSHROOMHEAD’s prior release, XIII, entered the Billboard Top 200 at #40 and went on to sell 400,000 copies worldwide.
“It’s a new chapter in MUSHROOMHEAD’s evolution. There are sounds on this album that sound so brutal and huge. It is definitely a more diverse album. Lyrically, it definitely reflects where the world is at this moment in time,” says drummer Skinny.
The visionary masked band combines theatrics with a mixture of rock, metal and atmospheric elements. The first single will hit radio in mid-August with a tour expected to follow later this year.
