Cattle Decapitation has been, since their first album, (in my opinion), one of the finest gore grind bands around. Brutal, fast, deep, jagged, hard … you get the picture. The band has taken a slight turn on “Karma.Bloody.Karma.” The grind is still here but if memory serves me, this one’s upped the metal dynamic a bit. It’s not just total sick-grind anymore, but the dynamics have increased. Also, the lyrics have taken a turn away from medical/gore grind and reached for more eloquent shores, delivering in nearly every song an homage to nihilism, bringing the message that man has brought upon himself his own well-deserved ruin. Still heavy and still dark, right?

I think this is my favorite of their releases… I personally give it an 8 out of 10.
TSV is still my favourite… but heej who gives a hoot
KBK is the best album i got this year and CD live blew my mind
(well i live in holland…we hardly get proper tours here)
