MTV – Announce New Award Show
MTV2 will debut an annual user-generated celebration of everything that matters called “All That Rocks.” Winners will be determined by MTV2 audiences by voting at allthatrocks.mtv2.com and viewers submitted video uploads via partnership with iFilms. This DIY opportunity puts the power in the fans hand to propel their favorite acts into the mainstream. Hosted by Bam Magera, the event will air on Sunday, 7/30 at 9pm EST.
MTV2’s “All That Rocks” has nominated AS I LAY DYING and LAMB OF GOD and MASTODON for the position of “There Are None Higher, Ultimate Metal God”!
MTV2’s Headbanger’s Ball will air a special episode preceding the award show (7/29) at their usual time of 10pm EST. There MTV2’s Headbanger’s Ball will interview all 3 nominees for the upcoming award show.
