State of Arizona vs. Blackie Lawless – The Verdict

Blackie Lawless was found Not Guilty by the Scottsdale Arizona Court inthe ongoing assault case against him dating back to August of 2005. TheJudge's decision of "Not Guilty" was handed down today Monday, May 22nd2006. Pleased with the decision from the Court, Blackie feels that theCourt took into consideration that the artists have a right to defendthemselves in an effort to avoid more of the recent tragedies that havehappened to other performers. He also hopes that decisions like thiswill further increase awareness and understanding by the public thatperformers can be extremely vulnerable and that this case will alsoserve in aiding other performers if and when the time arises that theyare forced to defend themselves in Court cases. Blackie will also liketo thank the many, many fans and associates who have supported himthroughout this trial.
