Screaming Ferret Wreckords and WARCON Ent. – Announce Distro Arrangement and Release Schedules

Screaming Ferret Wreckords, the New England-based independentmetal label that is home to such varied acts as NUCLEAR ASSAULT,RAGE, MELIAH RAGE, BEYOND THE FLRESH, DIVINITY DESTROYED,THE BEN JACKSON GROUP and new signing TRY REDEMPTION - has madean arrangement with WARCON Enterprises to be distributed through their Fontana Distribution deal. WARCON, the label that has been making waves among punk rock andpost-hardcore circles, has received much attention with theirparticipation in the Taste Of Chaos tour and the recent signing of hardrock stalwarts HELMET. This unique relationship promises to extend thereach of Screaming Ferret Wreckords, giving a much-deserved push andgreater impact to their hard-working artists. WARCON co-founder Bob Chiappardi states, “I’m excited to welcome TimKoukos and Screaming Ferret Wreckords to our WARCON family ofdistributed labels. Screaming Ferret represents our first metal musiclabel signing. While WARCON specializes in post-hardcore music, we have the resources and knowledge to successfully promote & distribute a widerange of music including metal, punk, etc. We look forward to a longand successful venture with Screaming Ferret Wreckords.” Screaming Ferret Wreckords president Tim Koukos says, “I’m excited andhonored to be working with Bob Chiappardi and the WARCON camp. There’sno question in my mind that their experience and expertise will bringScreaming Ferret Wreckords and its affiliates all the tools andrelationships needed to continue the growth of our company.” Upcoming Screaming Ferret releases include a live DVD recorded duringNUCLEAR ASSAULT's performance at the 2005 Louder Harder Faster Festival. The DVD will feature three hours of footage, including the thrashlegends’ complete live set, as well as vintage footage, two new musicvideos, two unreleased songs, in-the-studio footage, slide shows andinterviews. Screaming Ferret Wreckords has also begun working with Vyagra Music,based in Allentown, PA. This joint venture will present the upcomingrelease of a solo album by SEVEN WITCHES/SAVATAGE guitarist Jack Frost as well as a new DVD from SEVEN WITCHES.
