Rush – Following Up 5x Platinum and 3x Platinum DVD’s with “Rush Replay X3″ DVD

RUSH built its phenomenally loyal following on its legendary performances.  Even after more than 30 years on stage, RUSH live on homevideo remains a hit.  The DVD companion to the band’s most recent album, 2003’s “Rush In Rio”, is five times platinum.  2005’s “R30″, a DVD-only live-and-more package, is triple platinum.  Now the band’s first three concert home videos, each of which is out of print in the U.S. in any format, will be issuedfor the first time together and on DVD.  The four-disc box set “Rush Replay X3″ (Mercury/UMe), released June 13, 2006, combines the three DVDs – “Exit…Stage Left”, ‘Grace Under Pressure” and “A Show Of Hands” – with a never-before-released CD soundtrack version of “Grace Under Pressure”. Each DVD features new 5.1 surround sound and stereo mixes created by guitarist Alex Lifeson from the original concert multi-tracks as well as digitally transferred and remastered visuals.  The package also includes reprints of the original tour booklets for the three concerts.
