Metal Church – A Light in the Dark

Metal Church is alive and well and still going strong. I recall first hearing them on, I believe, “The Dark” and the song “Ton of Bricks” remains in my memory. I appreciate the fact that classic metal acts such as this are still alive and don’t feel the pressure to adjust their sound to conform to modern metal. I, for one, happen to dig the days of hair metal and power acts and Metal Church is worth remembering. Here, with “A Light in the Dark,” we find the band still turning out the kind of music that old school headbangers can sink their teeth into.
