Ragnarok UK Metalfest 2006 – Lineup Addition – Dream Evil; Only Live Date of 2006
Metalism UK are pleased to announce that the next band confirmed for it’s inaugural RAGNAROK UK METALFEST, to be held at Perth Concert Hall in Central Scotland on Saturday, November 4 is none other than Swedish traditional metallers, DREAM EVIL.
A statement by the organisers said that they expect that the band or it’s management team will release a statement regarding the future plans for the band in due course.
Thus far it is the band’s only announced live date of 2006.
On the Preshow lineup, entitled “Fimbulvetr” which means “Winter of Winters”
in Norse mythology and is the direct prelude to “Ragnarok”, UK thrash metallers EVILE have been added to the bill. The band have recieved positive comments worldwide for their “All Hallows Eve” demo recording and Metalism UK is delighted to have them on it’s preshow lineup.

Meanwhile, the preshow event, Fimbulvetr – set to take place at The Doghouse, Dundee on Friday, November 3 is shaping up as follows:

The TBC confirmed slot for the preshow will be a Scottish band. We invite all bands who would like to play at this event to contact us via our official admin inbox – admin@ragnarokfestival.com – with the subject title “Fimbulvetr Scottish Slot” and the name of their band. This will remain open for 1 week ONLY. At which point the best 8 entries will be selected by the organisers and the public will be allowed to vote on whom should get the slot. The selected bands will then be told what information they need to provide to allow the public to vote on the slot.
