All that Remains – 15 Second Teaser of New Music for Ozzfest 2006
Prosthetic Records and ALL THAT REMAINS have unveiled a 15-second teaser spot to highlight the band’s forthcoming album, ‘The Fall of Ideals,’ as well as the ALL THAT REMAINS summer run on Ozzfest. You can view the spot for the album and tour here.
Mixing and mastering for ‘The Fall of Ideals’ is now underway, and the album was recorded at Zing Studios with producer Adam Dutkiewicz (KILLSWITCH ENGAGE) and engineer Peter Wichers (ex-SOILWORK), with artwork being handled by Travis Smith (OPETH, ICED EARTH).
“People have a certain idea of what this band is and when they hear the new stuff,” vocalist Phil Labonte said previously. “It will completely and totally be a new approach to our same style. The riffs and sound are similar, but you take the song dynamics, and these layers we’re doing, and it’s now a completely different animal. It’s almost like a new way to look at an old friend.”
The band will soon depart for the European edition of Sounds of the Underground 2006 before returning to North America for its run on Ozzfest. ‘The Fall of Ideals’ is the highly anticipated follow-up to 2004’s critically acclaimed ‘This Darkened Heart.’
