Green Carnation – Invited to Perform on National Norweigan Radio Station P3, Announce European Tour
Norway’s prog metal masters GREEN CARNATION have been invited to perform on National radio station P3 in Norway on Wednesday, April 5, 2006, a show that will be streamed via the Internet to a world-wide audience.
The band will be special guests in the studio supporting Satyricon for their live world debut of songs from their new album “Now, Diabolical”.
“We’ve never done anything like this before, and of course this will be a very special way to round off our USA tour. We will perform songs from “The Acoustic Verses,” which I guess will be a nice contrast to Satyricon,” guitarist Tchort grins.
GREEN CARNATION will enter the stage, live on air at 18.03 (Norway time) on Wednesday. To hear the concert via the Internet, log on to www.nrk.no/p3 in the upper left column, click “Nettradio” and a pop-up window will appear with a stream of the show. Another way is to click the “Nettradio” button in the green field below the top banner.
In other news, the band just completed their first-ever 5-week tour of North America in support of ‘The Acoustic Verses’ and have just been added to European Harvest Festival tour, set to take place in September. Also appearing on the bill are headliners TRISANIA, plus additional support acts MORGANA LEFAY, DERANGED, MACHINE MEN and one more as-yet-unannounced band. The dates are as follows:
