Enslaved – USA Premiere of New Song on Saturday, April 1
Candlelight Records USA will premiere “Paths of Vanir” from ENSLAVED’s forthcoming album, “Ruun”, on Saturday, April 1. Launching at 9am EST, you will be able to listen to the song, which is also the album’s first of two planned videos by bringing your browser to candlelightusa.com.
“Ruun”, set for US release on May 2, is as every bit epic and monumental as fans of the highly decorated band have come to expect. Recorded at Amper Studios in Olso and mastered at The Cutting Room in Sweden, “Ruun” is without doubt the band’s breakout release. The album follows the critically-acclaimed Isa (receiving 2005 “Album of the Year” honors from Metal Maniacs, Decibel, Revolver, Terrorizer and more!) and represents the culmination of the band’s 15 years together – a recording legacy that is musically unmatched by any modern day peer.
Candlelight will release a limited edition 2LP version of “Ruun” on June 27.
Limited to 500 for direct US distribution, it is sure to be a highly collectable piece for fans. The label recently released Return to Yggdrasil-Live In Bergen, the bands’ latest DVD release.
