Artimus Pyledriver – Ink Deal with DRT Entertainment
DRT has signed Atlanta’s own ARTIMUS PYLEDRIVER. The band’s self-titled DRT debut will in-store June 6. “This album is just the beginning of our sonic assault on Southern rock and hardcore,” raves singer Dave Slocum. “This is the shit that bridges the gap between DAVID ALLEN COE and BLACK FLAG,”
Named in homage to LYNYRD SKYNYRD drummer, Artimus Pyle, the 10 track aural attack of ARTIMUS PYLEDRIVER will introduce your ears to their own unique brand of “heavy Southern rawk.” Recorded at The A Room Studios in Atlanta GA, the album was mixed and mastered By Matt Washburn at Ledbelly Studios and produced by Artimus Pyledriver and Dave Angstrom. The video for the album’s first single, “Swamp Devil,” will be filmed in the upcoming weeks. ARTIMUS PYLEDRIVER have toured nationally with both NASHVILLE PUSSY, HANK WILLIAMS III, as well as played with MASTODON.
