Aborted – More Info Released About Upcoming DVD
ABORTED have released the following update:
“The tour was amazing, thanks to all the bands & killer polish crew for making this such a blast, to all of you who came out to support us! Unfortunately we had to cancel our last show in Hamburg because of Illness of some members & bad logistics. We promise however to make it up to the people who showed up to see us by playing there this year!
Being home for 2 weeks nearly everyone is healed back to life & we’re ready to hit Colmar tomorrow, so see you freaks out there! Other news is we’re still writing songs for the new record to be recorded in Oktober. Expect a February release date for that matter. AND
HERE IT IS: we’re shooting our live DVD on may 28 in LA LOCOMOTIVE in paris on the infamous VS FEST! The dvd should be out later this year on LISTENABLE RECORDS. Besides this show it’ll contain live footage from this years FACE YOUR UNDERGROUND fest in antwerp, the show in montreal (suffocation tour), Rouyn Noranda (suffocation tour) and more. It will also contain the videos completed by the band so far & some interviews & backstage shenanigans! The damn thing should be mixed by mastermind Tue Madsen so we’re very anxious & excited to get this one going! thats all for now folks, see you on the road!”

Deathchain, I bought the newest Aborted cd thinking it was going to be akin to their whole back catalogue, and I sold it the next day because it was awash with breakdowns. That is not what Aborted was. Fuck it.

The American version of the new Aborted CD is garbage…I admit it, but the Euro/World version is sooooo much fucking better. Most the places there were breakdowns on the US version, QUOTES were supposed to be there.
Well there's also the fact that most bands who put X's around their names are just having fun anyway. But having fun isn't something the metal community tends to understand very much.
We like to have fun without x's.
