Not true. They've done Jones' Beach, PNC in the same year before.

Yes I knbow, and I might add that Jones beach has waaaayyy better sound, and Ozzy has a 100% perfect health record at that venue… for that one time. Enough of my bitching.
Anyway to the point: They did the PNC/jones beach SPLIT in 2004 instead of doing the usual 2 shows at PNC, It probably ended up about just as profitable as doing two shows at PNC. Two shows at PNC carry less expenses and efforts for moving everything and stuff. Basically they found the perfect alternative. Don't they have to provide EVERYTHING to have a show at Randall's island though? Like don't they need to set up they're own security and catering arangements with no services provided by the venue? I don't know myself I think that's how it is, which would be why it's never happened before.
Personally I dont care much about that stuff because if I go this year I'll just go at night to see Ozzy, providing that the cheapest tickets don't cost $125 each!
Randall's is all standing, correct? I've not missed anything? If so Ozzfest really, REALLY messed up in NYC in all these past years.
Back to what I said earlier about the perfect alternative: they have to do something to get the max amount of profit. 2 shows at PNC means about 1 1/2 times thwe amount of people of PNC's total capacity goes to see Ozzfest over 2 days. They would MUCH rather get everybody at one place on one day! Not to mention all standing room!!!!!!!
If only the lineup didn;t fucking suck, or if they were smart enough to have done this in past years, Then I would be 100x happier than I am at this moment
