NEMHF – Overcast To Reunite and Perform at Festival; First Round of Who Is Playing When
OVERCAST, the Massachusetts based band made up of members from SHADOWS FALL, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and UNEARTH, will be reuniting for this year’s New England Metal and Hardcore Festival in Worcester, MA at The Palladium. The band will be performing at the April 29 show as the third headliner, right behind headliners ARCH ENEMY and CHIMAIRA (direct support). The headliner for the Friday, April 28 show is LACUNA COIL and the headliners for the April 30 show are GAMMA RAY and DRAGONFORCE.
The official New England Metal and Hardcore Festival website has over 80 bands listed to perform at the three day festival. However, only 34 of those bands have confirmed which dates they will perform at. The following is a list of what bands have been confirmed for what dates. yea brian from shads & mike d from KsE are in it. i really want to go this year, and this may be the selling point for me to attend. this band was lightyears ahead of its time & it would be nice if they toured again
Overcast played the fest last in 2001 (don't quote me on the date!), I think. I saw some pics and a review in an old Metal Maniacs.
Otherwise, the NEMHF page has about 82 bands listed. My sources for each one were from thepalladium.net, the bands' official sites and their Myspace pages (surprisingly, they're sometimes more useful than the official pages). Damn, was that annoying… I hope you enjoy it.
I might have to trek up to Worchester and see this.

Overcast played metalfest back in 02 on day 2.
I really gotta check into plane ticket and concert ticket prices. This would be awesome to attend.
Yeah Ichiban is right. I remember that. It was unbelievable. I actually think B. Fair was much better in Overcast. He has more of a hardcore voice. To me, this year's list looks a little lame. I've seen most of the big names already. And theres not that many european bands.
