You might think from the band’s name that this would be a total blast of harsh hedonistic Satanistic naughty metal. Well, these guys likely aren’t very Jesus friendly but they’re not harsh, either. But they are fucking death metal, and, yes, they’re heavy. But the thing is, they up their accessibility mondo notches with their muscular and thick yet lean execution of crunchy but melodic death metal. A lot of classic and power style flavors can be heard searing through the metal onslaught, but filtered through a slice of heavyness that’s just beautiful and tight. In addition, there are plenty of grooves and tight instrumentation to keep the thing pushing ahead with just the right pulse and catchiness. There’s even some solowork. And, of course, the vocals are a rip roaring blast. Swell melodic death.
