The Red Chord – Guitarist To Sit Out Some Shows
THE RED CHORD have issued the following update from the road:
“The tour has been amazing. We’re getting along awesome with all the bands (THROWDOWN, STILL REMAINS & A DOZEN FURIES). We played with some awesome local bands too, including NC’s GIANT and WV’s BEYOND ALL HOPE. We have a few more shows with this tour left before we meet up with THE AGONY SCENE and THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER. It’s funny how things change…we took BDM out on one of their first tours years ago and now they’re repaying the favor and taking us back out. We’re stoked and that part of the run is going to be amazing. Make sure to come check out any of the upcoming shows and stop by the merch table and say what’s up to us (we’re rolling without a merch guy this tour, so we’ll be kicking it there ourselves). Thanks so much and we hope to see you all soon!
In the event that we are performing without Gunface, it is because he came down with a nasty case of pneumonia and per doctor’s orders he’s taking a couple days off. This is a huge deal, since he has played every RED CHORD show ever and it’s been really odd to play without him. He’s not leaving or anything drastic. The boy just needs to get some rest so he can get well and grind for years to come.”

Yeah he seemed pretty sick when I saw em last week. Said he could hardly breathe on stage.

Great guys great band.Hope he feels better soon, having had it sveral times when I was a child,pneumonia is horrible.
They definately destroyed last Sunday. They are all great guys, amazing live. Kevin Talley needs to stay in that band.
I saw them a Monday night and they ripped it up big time. I agree, Kevin Talley should just join The Red Chord and be done with it lol.
Hopefully "Gunface" gets better soon.
