System of a Down has to be the most annoying band of them all. And Slipknot is.. just a joke.
out of those bands, Ministry should have won Best Metal, but what the fuck do those judges know anyways?

B.Y.O.B should have been in the metal category, and Before I Forget should have been in the hard rock category. What the fuck? And Determined nominated over Happy? Determined wasn't even released as a single!!!
This is just awful. BYOB is probably one of the most annoying songs to come out in recent memory, and they're basically just handing the award to Slipknot for their popularity. Makes you wonder if the judges know anything about technical ability with these bands.
Yea, why was Determined nominated ? Weird. Ah, well.
Consider what music means to you if you even give media awards the time of day.
Determined I guess was the track they submitted to the academy. I have the first sampler from 'Lost and Found' and it was for Determined. So i guess its kinda a single, since they made promos featuring the track first

Man they didn't even show people present the award for best metal preformance. It was done during comercials. Shadows Fall should have won.

Not that it really needs to be said, but the Grammys are a celebration of record sales.
The Grammy equivalents in places like Sweden and Norway are (relatively) shit, too. I mean, I'd take Dimmu Borgir or Nightwish over any of the above, but there countless better bands in the World than Dimmu and Nightwish.
Slipknot is such a joke. Whoever makes a big deal about a Burger King commercial and "copying their look" should be shot in the face. Instead of worrying about a fucking commercial, they should be worrying about their shitty ass music.
