AS I LAY DYING will be re-releasing their first two recordings previously out on Pluto Records. Both “Beneath the Encasing of Ashes”, which was recorded two months after the band started, and their split EP songs, which were recorded a year later, will both be on one CD.
In other AS I LAY DYING news, for the second year in a row drummer Jordan Mancino was voted Favorite Drummer in HM Magazine. Fans and readers of HM Magazine can pick up the March issue of HM Magazine for the full results of the 2005 Reader’s Poll.

Beneath The Encasing is a sweet album, but I can't get into the lyrics too much.
HM magazine obviously doesn't have good taste in music if they voted that fag as a good drummer. He's a dumbed down death metal drummer that doesn't know what he's doing when he does those so called blast beats.
