Street Drum Corps – Tape Upcoming Episode for CBS’ “Love Monkey”

The STREET DRUM CORPS were in New York City January 12 to tape an upcoming episode of CBS’ most-talked about new show “Love Monkey”. Starring Tom Cavanagh as a successful NYC A&R rep for a record label, the show will feature upcoming bands and artists each week as part of the show’s continuing plot line.

The STREET DRUM CORPS, who are a three-piece, punk-rock drumming outfit that appeared on this summer’s Warped Tour, are gearing up for their three-month gig with the Taste of Chaos Tour and are about to release their debut, self-titled album February 21 through WARCON Enterprises.

Labeled as “Punk Rock STOMP” by Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman after their thunderous Warped Tour appearances, the Street Drum Corps have been gaining tremendous success within the punk and rock communities. So much so, in fact, that Used frontman Bert McCracken invited the group to join him on the road last year for a few dates and even recorded this season’s hit holiday song “Happy Christmas, War is Over” with him for the “Taste of Christmas” album which was also released through WARCON Enterprises.
