The Strokes are the worst examples of Lower East Side posers around. People from prep schools all lose their "hip" cred for me.
This band sucks ass but sIN does this for the same reasons Blabbermouth posts bullshit like "Scott Weiland spotted drinking Orange Juice, Photos" Keep it coming siN, especially with the Wu-Tang news, I actually care about that shit.
I saw them once headlining… yes… headlining a radio festival that was mostly cry-baby emo crap. I only went to see the Beastie Boys, I decided to stick around a little bit because I had nothing better to do… after a surprise preformance by Jay-Z who preformed his hit song "99 problems" :wassat: these guys came on. I was one of the few people left in the ampitheater when they BEGAN, later I heard that they left the stage in disgust and even went through being mocked backstage by some of the concert promoters themselves.
No one likes these guys even in their own hometown(this was NY)
point: why is this band mentioned anywhere?

if you were talking about krocks radio festival you must have been smoking dust because they played to a pretty large capacity crowd just like every band on that day. and if their so disliked in their hometown how come two tickets go for about 300 dollars
