Seemless – Jesse Gives 1st Album Update from the Studio – Paul Romano to do Artwork
SEEMLESS frontman, and former KILLSWITCH ENGAGE frontman, Jesse Leach has checked in from Longview Studios where his band is currently getting down and dirty recording their next effort:
“Greetings,
“So I have a few days to be a fly on the wall up here. We are in Longview studios & it is amazing! I have demos done for about 6 songs so the rest I have been jamming on & I am just going to write while we are here. This place is amazing check it out.
“The bands that have made these walls vibrate include: Rolling stones, J geils band, Cat stevens, & Aerosmith circa 1978! In fact I will be writing lyrics in the same shack out back that Steven Tyler wrote lyrics in, strange. Who would have thought this little band that started out as a fun “project” would be laying down the album of our lives in this incredible place. I feel the history in these walls man.”
“So we are locked up here for about a week to get the guys playing the music together live (in the farmhouse if you are checking out the web page). Then I will be starting vocals next week with my buddy Ken from Unearth in his studio, then Jeff & Derek & I are off to Florida to finish vocals & mix with Jason Suecof (God Fobid & Trivium, Roadrunner allstars) He is also part of the Seemless Darkangel Management family. This album to me is the most honest real to life album I have ever made.:
“I am getting some of this stuff on video so eventually we may release some sort of a DVD or clips you can watch online, we’ll see. Well I want o get back to watching my boys lay it down.”
:Also we have Paul Romano working on our album artwork. for those who don’t know his stuff he is known for his work with Mastodon check it: http://www.workhardened.com/work/work.html & http://www.workhardened.com for a quick glance at the Mastodon stuff.”
“I will check back with you all soon, I have 3 full days of just hanging out & writing ahead of me so..I have some time on my hands. For the record we are all so focused, excited & really happy with this album….ahhh the suspense.”
