  4. SyntheticMetal says:

Bullet For My Emo can fucking die, but if this tour skips Philly, goddamnit, something is seriously going down.

should be very interesting..both COB and chimaira are beyond incredible on-stage performers..I have not heard much of Bullet for my valentine, therefore i cannot pre-judge…i will most definately look for this tour to come to columbus (which it should being chimaira has not been here since april)..

  6. SyntheticMetal says:

Chimaira hasn't been here since Sounds of the Underground. Dave Mustaine decided to take that tour to Atlantic City and come nowhere near Philly.

  7. Anus says:

That's because Dave Mustaine is a giant douche. And he probably likes Bullet For My Valentine.

  8. lan says:

He does? A band with a name like that can't possibly uphold the positive Christian message.

  9. MM88 says:

    another tour already?

  10. Anus says:

Maybe not, I didn't take that into consideration.

Sounds like a pretty gay tour. Bodom have lost their magic, Chimaira are half-decent and Bullet For My Valentine should just point the gun at themselves. I'm listening to a new Lacuna Coil song, it's not half-bad so far…the chorus is good but the verses are pretty lame. I hope the rest of the CD is better.

  13. Slayerizer says:

I will only go to this if CoB change their setlist. Last tour setlist sucked ass….their last cd is the worst thing that came out in 2005

man there is no fucking pleasing anyone. jesus christ. bunch of fucking whiners, i think this is a great fucking metal tour. be thankful that 2 awesome metal bands are touring together.

  16. Penisaur says:

That last setlist was great, what are you talking about? Even though they only played one Something Wild song.

  17. slayerfanatic says:

come to omaha, i fucking love chimaira

  18. - says:

3 months and Opeth is back. 3 months and Bodom is back. god knows we'll probably see them again in the summer. i wish record companies would put some other bands on tour rather than the same stuff.

  19. slapit says:

I recently saw Bodom in San Diego but I'll be surprised if they come for this tour. Alexi got nailed in the head with an empty beer bottle. And I've seen Chimaira a few times, not impressed.

  20. stevenson says:

Only going if Manowar joins

  21. Anus says:

    hahahahahaha

  22. mudfan says:

I hope this tour comes to KC, I have yet to see CoB

  23. Namaste says:

God Forbid is on this tour as well.

  24. dead skin gringo says:

what a fucking lame tour. I think I'll skip this one even if it does come here. too many good, better tours this spring.

  25. niwag says:

cob is very boring live (my opinion) chimaira is fucking awesome so if they headline and come to milwaukee i will go

  26. niobeandrew says:

some of you are so dumb. its amazing…
first off, Chimaira was on Sounds of the Underground, NOT Gigantour (which is dave mustaines tour). and SOTU DID go to philly.
secondly, bullet for my valentine is gay emo?!?!? are you fucking retarded?!?!? listen to the album. they are very much along the same lines of trivium, just with some more melody. they are definitely as heavy as chimaira.

and how could hawthorne heights and wicked wisdom be compared to ANY of these bands?? some of you typical metal heads seriously shock me sometimes with your ridiculous statements.

  27. HiTeck says:

Because Trivium is gay emo metalcore. So obviously Bullets for my Valentine are gay emo metalcore too.

Hawthorne Heights should tour with Trivium and Bullet for my Valentine…it would be a perfect match. A concert for pseduo scenester emo core fags in girl pants with lotsa spin kicking.

  28. Smorgasmorgue says:

I agree (hate to say it) with all the senseable people here. This tour is fucking garbage. This offers nothing remotely listenable. (Although Bodom used to be, they definetly arn't now) Only reason to go to bodom the last time around was Amon Amarth and I didn't want to waste my $20+

  29. dalenkwint says:

according to blabbermouth(blah), God Forbid is supposed to be on this tour as well, check up on this maybe?

  30. MetalHeads says:

this tour sounds bad ass i'm not about to bitch about

  31. MetalHeads says:

    it

  32. Plan2Damage says:

Woah, Woah, Woah…niobeandrew, you say Bullet for My Valentine is AS HEAVY as Chimaira…? Are you fucking serious?!? I'm not one to flame or disrespect anyone on this board…and I don't think I have done it to anyone except kornographer…but if you seriously think BFMV is heavier than Chimaira, you seriously need to take a step back…

BFMV is whining, plain and simple…and if I wanted to hear that, I'd go talk to a emo kid…I'm sorry, but putting arguing the most heavy out of these two bands is like comparing Mien Kampf to Charlotte's Web…GET A FUCKING CLUE!

  33. will says:

i'm sorry but i have to really strongly disagree with whoever it was that called trivium emo…there is no emo band on this planet that can hold a light to trivium…and to even classify trivium as emo is even more lame…obviously you haven't listened to any of their earlier demos, seen them live or tried to cover one of their solos…they are absolutely brilliant musicians for the young age they are..

but here's another thought for you…an arguement that they are emo is because they write songs about child abuse, tragedy and finding yourself…if that makes them an emo band then i'm sure ride the lightning could be considered just as emo to you…stop judging bands because they have some soft vocals in between their harder stuff and focus on the guitar riffs, overall sound and attitude of it..trivium are 1 of the best metal bands to come out in the past 3 years..at such a young age, they're all extremely talented and are incredibly hard workers..i support them 100% and look forward to seeing their music grow…
