Taste of Chaos – Full Lineup and North American Itinerary Revealed
After 37 packed dates across the United States and Canada last Winter, followed by an equally successful international run which hit England, Scotland, Germany, Australia and Japan, The Taste of Chaos tour is back with another onslaught of Winter shows in the United States and Canada, featuring a who’s-who of young, loud, aggressive bands.
Kevin Lyman, the brainchild behind the Vans Warped Tour, has once again created a model for more-bang-for-your-buck. Lyman says, “Our goal is to give fans a six hour arena show with a multimedia experience of live music and activities for under $30 bucks”. The tour is scheduled to hit 46 cities in the U.S. and Canada between mid-February and mid-April. The multi-artist package in the U.S. will feature:

…and other special musical surprises to be announced. THURSDAY will replace STORY OF THE YEAR for the Canadian portion of the tour.
ROCKSTAR Energy Drink has signed on to be the title sponsor of the 2006 tour and will be sampling their products, as well as coming up with some great surprises for attendees. Nintendo has returned as a second year sponsor so that fans can play the coolest new Nintendo products and games in special gaming kiosks that will be set up at each venue. Other sponsors include Best Buy, Hot Topic and Ernie Ball (who will provide musical instruments for fans to test out.) FUSE Television, MySpace.com, Alternative Press and Revolver have signed on as official Taste of Chaos media partners.

Something I'll be sure to miss. The only two bands I give a shit about are Deftones and Pelica, and they don't belong on the same tour.
This line-up is retarded.
Pelican*
Taste of Gayos would be more appropriate.
Yes,yes,yes,yes,yes,
yes,yes!!!!
this line is beyond retarted. Its probally way expensive and not worth the money to see 2 bands that I care about.
so last year i went for killswitch, so this year i spose i could go just for as i lay dying. but they arent coming back to des moines, saving me $30
Deftones better be headlining this.
I'll be at the KC show. I havent heard of half these bands though, probably because they suck. But I really want to see Atreyu and the Deftones. And I would like to see AILD because they didn't play at Freaker's Ball
You guys list the canadian dates as if they are a real country more like a cuntry
this is a pretty sick tour but i'd end up going for like 5 bands(mainly AILD and atreyu)
"Deftones better be headlining this."
I completely agree.
I BELEIVE DEFTONES ARE THE HEADLINERS. I WILL GO 2 SEE THEM
Well this is on a friday so i'll be going. Im mostly going for As I Lay Dying, atreyu, deftones. SOTY and Thrice are ok.
The oregon date is in Salem, not Portland. We have the state fairgrounds.
This show will be about as awesome as having the rough end of a pineapple shoved up your ass.
The only bands on this I like are As I Lay Dying and Pelican, which I've both seen in smaller venues and with much, much better bands. And what the fuck is Pelican doing on this bill anyway? All those cyclops/fashion/faggot-core kids can't handle songs more than 5 minutes long, never mind 15 minutes. Hopefully they'll all have epileptic seizures and die already.

hahahah. funniest thing ive seen on here in a while.
There's only three bands I like on this peice of shit tour, and those bands are The Deftones, As I Lay Dying, and Atreyu. I'll just save my money for something better.
Yay! It's emo-fest! Don't forget to bring your razor blades!

Been riding the cock of pseudo-patriotism, eh?
So you have the nu-metal Deftones fans rubbing on each other and the scenester Atreyu fans trying to start fights with them. Nice. Like some of the bands, just not enough to go.
Is it just me, or are the posters nowadays looking more like Blabbermouth posters?
canada more like cuntry
Good one! It's like middle school all over again
mariners_rime, you say you want to go see As I Lay Dying, and then you call people cyclops/fashion/faggot-core kids? I'm sorry, but thats kind of pushing the lines of hypocricy a bit…But hey, yer right about Pelican, I don't see them getting a good reaction on this pathetic tour.
Robin Williams said it best " Canadas like an apartment over a really great party"
toolband84. Your name says it all your a fucking tool.
"KEEP IT DOWN EY!!"
…Ahhh, Live On Broadway is the most killer standup comedy DVD in existence.
UserFromHell:
Do I like AILD? Yes. Am I one of those scenster fucks? No. However, that band draws a lot of those kids. I'd rather see them under metal circumstances, is what I'm getting at.
Most As I Lay Dying fans probably don't even listen to real hardcore, so keep in mind what you say about it.
AILD gave hardcore AIDs.
good one sprinkles, call me a tool, very creative. How long did you have to think about that one.
You all are children. The Receiving End of Sirens is good.
THIS IS THE GAYEST TOUR EVER
I remember when calling something gay as an insult did anything but point out your own closet tendencies. Wait, no I don't.
i'll see you at the fargo date…this looks like a good show…i heard tickets for most show are less than $30
wow interesting show we got going on here, but whats up with all the negative bullshit.grow up people their is no reason to be critics music is music get over it.
^ you're gay, leave.
^ agreed
holy crap, id rather wear a yamaka and the star of david while walking through palastine than watch this fucking line-up
