P.O.D. – Release EP “Warriors Vol. 2″ – Planning For New Album “Testify”
P.O.D. are set to release their new EP titled “Warriors Vol. 2″ with a new album on the horizon for the new year. You can listen to tracks off the EP here.
The EP is a limited edition collection of P.O.D. rarities, including demos, live tracks, and b-sides chronicling the band’s recent musical journeys. Among the highlights are “Why Wait,” a straight up reggae jam, and the band’s take on the 80’s hit “Eyes Of A Stranger” exemplifying their eclectic influences and unique, varied sound. Also included are a pair of new songs recorded in demo form, just prior to the “Testify” sessions, and explosive versions of two fan favorites, “Boom” and “Wildfire,” captured live on stage at 2004’s annual Cornerstone gathering.
The forthcoming “Testify” is their fourth Atlantic album and first full length release since 2003’s RIAA gold-certified “Payable on Death.” The album – produced by the band in collaboration with Glen Ballard (DAVE MATTHEWS, VAN HALEN, AEROSMITH) – looks to be P.O.D.’s most provocative and powerful work to date. While the final tracklisting is currently in the works, tentative highlights include the first single, “Goodbye For Now,” along with a pair of songs featuring guest vocals from acclaimed Hasidic artist MATISYAHU.

Why the hell is he collaborating with this band? He has.. talent.
When they played Ozzfest in '02, I stuffed pieces of hot-dog buns in my ears to stop the bleeding.
HORRIBLE live band, worst I've ever seen. I shouldv'e waited to take a shit during THEIR set, but I believe either Adema or Drowning Pool were before them, and I mistakenly took it then.

There's really no winning in that situation. You should've just stretched it out for 40 minutes.
I like this band, I think they put on a great show.
I'd rather listen to POD than all this metalcore/emo/screamo shit around today.
