Virgin Black – Continue Work on “Colossal Project”

Australia’s VIRGIN BLACK have sent an update from Down Under regarding their “colossal project” which is shaping their continuing career:

“The reputedly colossal project that VIRGIN BLACK are engaged in continues to intrigue. Now there’s talk of a hundred piece choir to compliment the recordings done with The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, those recordings have incidentally produced the first unofficial reviews with hardened classical boffins within the A.S.O. intrigued and impressed with Samantha Escarbe and Rowan London’s scores. According to these experts Virgin Black’s music, both past and particularly present, is reminiscent of the romantic era of classical composition and akin to the work of classical stars Mahler and Berlioz.”
